In July of 2009 I had the good fortune to be able to have Bailey as my wedding photographer. I could not have asked for more than the photos that we received - 
the group and family shots were exactly as we had discussed and it was all run so professionally. He then proceeded to take beautiful, relaxed photos of the guests enjoying the reception, which has given us a very real and individual photo album of images from our amazing day. I could not recommend him more highly. My second photography session with Bailey was after the wedding - I had loved his photographic style so much that I asked if I could have a personal photo session with him.
The photographs that came out of that session are absolute treasures, and I now
have photos of myself that that I am proud of and would be happy to hand onto

I’ve had a lifetime of body image issues, but had got to a place last year (after some years of physical and mental effort) where I finally felt okay about myself. So I asked Bailey to help me record what I’d achieved. I turned to him because I love what he does with light and form and also the honest, documentary-like edge that is prevalent in his work – this was crucial, as I didn’t want your usual Vaseline-on-the-lens, soft focus, frills and lace shots. I wanted to record what I actually am, capturing the strength of my body as well as the softness. I admit I was very scared and unsure of myself so the thought of baring all in front of someone with a camera was terrifying. But Bailey put me at ease from the word go with his professionalism, humour and easy nature and managed to capture what are possibly the most ‘real’ shots of me that have ever been taken – some confident, some vulnerable, some just plain happy in the moment. I cried when I looked at those pictures for the first time, because finally I could see myself, complete with all the battle scars of life, and accept that I’m not doing too badly after all. I owe you a debt, Bailey!

Bailey has consistently provided the Wellington Improvisation Troupe (www.wit.org.nz) with high quality photos that we use for promotion and advertising of shows. He takes great production photos and manages to capture all sort of improvised moments of mayhem - no easy task!
