Photography is an expensive business for the customer. The majority of photography companies work on a business model that dates back to the more expensive and difficult days of film. With the lower cost and ease of creating digital images, I'm able to provide a fair and reasonably-priced service which gets you the maximum number
of photos for your needs without having to take out a bank loan.

When you hire Eclipse Photographic, you hire a photographer to shoot your event,
be it a wedding, a live performance, or a portrait sitting. Having consulted with you previously to ensure we're getting what you want, I'll take the photos on the day
and then provide you with the resulting photos on a CD or DVD disc. The quantity
will depend on how long we spend shooting, but you can generally expect a large number of images - a typical full day's wedding shoot, for example, will result in
at least 500 shots for you to enjoy and share.

At this stage, the photos are yours to do as you please, at least for any non-commercial use. You can have them printed or put into an album, post them online, share them with family and friends, and enjoy them freely, with no other cost to you other than the agreed price for the shoot. I retain all copyright on the photos, but you commissioned my service, and the results are yours to enjoy and share. Unlike the majority of photographic companies, I do not charge for a shoot, then charge you
again for your prints or digital copies.

I only ask to be allowed to use some of the images for promotional purposes, here on this website and on our Flickr pages. In some instances, I may also want to use selected images for advertising or other commercial purposes, but will never do so without your expressed permission.
